IP SUMMER CUP 2010
On July 3 2010, United Generations organized our second Summer Cup that united children and seniors in a big sports festival in Munich. Over 100 people (children, seniors, and volunteers) came together from different cities including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart to experience the magic of intergenerational activities.
As part of our recreational event children and seniors had the opportunity to compete together in small sport challenges in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, solve puzzles and spend a nice day together.
The awards were presented by the German actress Eva-Maria Reichert.
Each winning team member received a free ticket for the Bavaria Film Tour for him/herself and 3 other people. The participation to this event was free as well as the food for all participants. The 2nd Summer Cup was a celebration for "Young and Old".
