United Generations presents itself on the open door day of the Senior Centre Bleiweiss in Nuremberg. The institution is operated by the city administration of Nuremberg (Seniorenamt Nuremberg) and from 20th Oct. onwards place of the weekly meetings of the IP Theatre group. Two UG members will inform visitors about UG projects. Hope to see you!

"Take No. 1" - The German video contest "Video of Generations" of the "Kinder und Jugendfilmzentrum in Deutschland" has been started again. Non-professional Filmmakers above 50+ and teams of Seniors and Juniors can send in their films until 15th January 2010. More atwww.video-der-generationen.de

On 17th November 2009 United Generations will take part at the 2nd Marketplace Nuremberg, where companies and NPOs get together and build up new partnerships. The Marketplace is organized by the Centre of Active Citizens Nuremberg, a leading volunteering organisation in Nuremberg.

The IP Theatre will start on 20th October 2009 in Nuremberg. We invite all Seniors and Juniors who are interested in founding a punch and judy show theatre group. This unique intergenerational program provides the opportunity to play theatre and get in touch with other creative people. Registration is now open. The program is sponsored by Seniorenamt Nuremberg, NürnbergStift, Zentrum Aktiver Bürger and Fantasie-Theater Nuremberg and some other sponsors. More information in section programs/theatre.

The registration deadline of the United Generations IP Photocontest runs until 16. October 2009. United Generations invite all photo enthusiasts to join the photo contest "two generations - one picture - united generations". The 1 Annual General Meeting of United Generations was held in Munich at 19 Sept. 2009. The General Meeting reliefs the Managing Board and elected the new Managing Board for the next one year term. The new Managing Board is as follows: First President - Daniel Kukla, Second President - Diana Eid - , Secretary - Nicole Weyrich - , Treasurer - Chris Markgraf -

Fabian Uhrich, former Treasurer, did not run for a second term. The Managing Board and all members of United Generations give thanks to Fabian Uhrich for his great contribution during the first year and constitution of United Generations.

UG Car hits the road

From this week onwards, with a bit of luck you can witness our new UG car on the streets in and around Nuremberg. The branding of the UG car is yet another step to increase awareness about United Generations.
