Intergenerational Programs (IPs)
Intergenerational Programs (IPs) can bridge the gap between the young and the old by providing activities specifically designed to encourage interactions (and sharing of skills, knowledge and experience) between the two age groups. Some programs for intergenerational exchange already exists (onegeneration.org, daretodreamfund.org).
Research in this area is not abundant, yet evidence indicates the benefits of intergenerational programs (IPs) seem to outweigh possible disadvantages.
